The Good Wife Season 7 renewal confirmed through latest cast addition

Tapping technology, the creators of CBS's "The Good Wife" managed to shoot the final reunion scene between the characters Alicia Florrick and Kalinda Sharma for the show's Season 6. Michelle and Robert King, creators of the series, admitted that the actresses who play the two characters were filmed in different locations.

The admission by the King couple further appears to confirm the rumored rift between actresses Julianna Margulies and Archie Panjabi. But Michelle clarifies, "We are certainly never ever hoping to hurt the fans feelings or make them feel like that trust has been broken," quotes Deadline.

The two female leads have not shared a scene in more than 50 episodes, notes E! Online.

She says that the show actually uses tricks all throughout such as when a car looks like traveling in a particular city as viewed from the window car, but the crew really did not shoot the scene at where it looks like.

Robert adds that Josh Charles quitting the show is one point probably when the viewers felt duped. "We kept something from the fans for a long time, because we knew a year earlier that we were going to be killing Will." He explains, "When you play a real emotion, you get around that duped factor."

However, he hints there would be more camera tricks next season involving Kalinda's departure. Panjabi who is definitely not returning for Season 7, says, "All I can say is this: the decision making process is not something I'm privy to."
