‘Straight Outta Compton’ Actor Marcc Rose To Star In Tupac Shakur Film?

Marcc Rose, 23, played only a bit role in in the N.W.A. biopic "Straight Outta Compton" as Tupac Shakur but he created a buzz with his uncanny resemblance to the late rapper. Recently, he revealed that there is a possibility that he will play Shakur again in a full film.

When stopped by Yahoo Studios to promote his role in "Straight Outta Compton," Rose told Yahoo! Movies that he and "Snowfall" director John Singleton are "trying to brainstorm and form together a proper biopic for him."

"Hopefully if everything works out we can make it work," Rose said of the possibility of playing Shakur in a film to be directed by Singleton, who directed "Empire" season 1 episode 5 titled "Dangerous Bonds" aired on Feb. 4.

"Straight Outta Compton" is Rose's first film. During the film's premiere, Rose told USA Today that people stop him on the street for resembling Tupac.

In "Straight Outta Compton," O'Shea Jackson Jr. played Ice Cube. The father and son duo are set to star in the 2016 film "April 29, 1992," directed by Donovan Marsh and written by Sascha Penn.

Eazy-E was played by Jason Mitchell, who is currently filming the 2016 film "Keanu" with Keegan-Michael Key and Will Forte, while Suge Knight was played by R. Marcos Taylor, who is set to star in A'Ali de Sousa's action film "Jackson Bolt."

Dr. Dre was played by Corey Hawkins, who previously starred in "Iron Man 3," "Non-Stop" and "Romeo and Juliet." He is set to star in the 2017 film "Kong: Skull Island" opposite "Trainwreck" actress Brie Larson and "Fantastic Four" actor Toby Kebbell.
