The third match day of the 2015-2016 CONCACAF Champions League tournament continues as Costa Rica's 2015 Apertura champions Club Sport Herediano meets Mexico's Tigres UANL in a Group B match at the Estadio Eladio Rosabal Cordero in Heredia on Wednesday.

This would be the first encounter of both teams after they defeated El Salvadoran squad AD Isidro Metapán in their opening games.

Los Florenses blanked Los Caleros in their tourney opener last August 6, 3-0, also at the Estadio Eladio Rosabal Cordero.

Forward Jonathan Hansen opened the scoring right at the 3rd minute of action, then midfielder Randall Azofeifa immediately followed at the 7th to move up ahead by two in the opening minutes. The score was sealed by winger Kenny Cunningham at the hour mark.

Los Tigres also crushed Metapán, this time a 2-1 decision at their home field of Estadio Universitario in San Nicolás de los Garza, Mexico.

Defender Alonso Zamora provided a double for the Felines as they also earned three points in the overall standings.

This game is important as the winner will already have one foot in the knockout stages.

Prediction: A high-scoring 4-3 conquest by Herediano. Odir Jacques' men will be bannered by newly acquired veteran striker Cristhiam Lagos, who had three goals in five appearances for the squad so far.
