| Aug 24, 2015 10:58 AM EDT

Vancouver Whitecaps defender Pa Modou Kah (#44) takes down New England Revolution forward Charlie Davies in an MLS soccer match.

The 2015 Amway Canadian Championship is to be concluded with the second leg of the final between the Vancouver Whitecaps and Montreal Impact scheduled at the BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia on Wednesday.

The first leg of the championship round ended up with a 2-2 tie between the competitors, which was held at the Impact's home field of Saputo Stadium in Montreal, Quebec last August 12.

Vancouver forward Darren Mattocks and attacking midfielder Pedro Morales scored the first two goals of the match at the 65th and 72nd-minute marks, but Montreal's defender Laurent Ciman and forward Anthony Jackson-Hamel answered with consecutive goals in the 84th and 85th to equalize the count in the end.

The Blue and White will still have the advantage after taking two away goals in the first leg, which means Montreal must score at the BC Place to win the final.

The winner of the match on aggregate will receive the Voyageurs Cup and a berth in next season's CONCACAF Champions League tournament.

Prediction: A hard-fought 2-1 victory for the Caps over the Impact. Being at their home stadium is going to be an advantage for Carl Robinson's boys at this crucial stage of the competitions, and so they will pull off the win.
