Premier League 2015-2016: Stoke City vs West Brom, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

| Aug 26, 2015 09:23 AM EDT

Chelsea's Radamel Falcao falls over West Brom’s Gareth McAuley on the pitch.

Two struggling teams in the 2015-2016 Premier League season, Stoke City FC (0-1-2, 2 points) and West Bromwich Albion FC (0-2-1, 1 point), is set to face each other on Saturday, August 29 at the former's Brittania Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent.

Both sides are yet to find their first win of the young season and have struggled to put points in the overall standings as they occupy the lowest quarter of the league table.

Mark Hughes' boys ended up in draws in their last two games after dropping their opening match versus Liverpool FC more than two weeks ago.

The Potters survived an impending upset from newly-promoted club Norwich City FC in their most recent assignment to end up with a 1-1 tie, as reported by The Guardian.

Meanwhile, the Baggies were beaten by powerhouse teams Manchester City, 0-3, and Chelsea, 2-3, while they settled for a goalless draw against newcomer Watford FC during week 2.

Tony Pulis' squad was nipped by José Mourinho's in their last game as the Blues drew inspiration from newly-acquired forward from Catalonia, Pedro, who opened the scoring for Chelsea, as per ESPN.

Against each other, Stoke City and West Brom would still struggle to put points on the board as both teams have no known scorers in their lineup.

The predicted result is a close 1-0 win for West Brom as Pulis finally notches his first victory of the season.

Stoke City starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Butland; Pieters, Johnson, Cameron, Muniesa; Arnautovic, Whelan; Shaqiri, Ginkel, Afellay; Diouf

West Brom starting lineup (4-1-4-1 formation): Myhill; Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Brunt; McManaman; Fletcher, Morrison, Yacob, McClean; Rondón
