"The Blacklist" cast members participate in a panel during the NBC sessions at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills, California July 27, 2013.

"The Blacklist" season 3 will return on TV screens soon and fans should expect many changes. From the first two seasons, Megan Boone (Elizabeth "Liz" Keen) was working as an FBI profiler.

In the upcoming third installment, Liz's name is tarnished and she is in fact FBI's most wanted as she is a fugitive. Liz is running away from authorities with Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) after the murder of Tom Connolly (Reed Birney).

The third installment of "The Blacklist" will concentrate more on Liz and her bitter past secrets. Jon Bokenkamp, the movie creator, initially hinted that the main reason for Liz pursuing the FBI profiler career was to cover up her past life. Her really name is Masha Rostova and she killed her father as a way of defending her mother, a former Russian spy.

NBC Entertainment chairman, Robert Greenblatt, teased that fans should expect big changes in the next season of "The Blacklist." He told Zap2it during the Television Critics Association summer press trip that the movie will get a refresh through the twist of the plot.

Greenblatt told the publication, "The trajectory of the story is great since it is a switch-up from what the format has been. Reddington and Liz are literally on the run. It is going to rejuvenate the entire show. It's a different feel this year."

Meanwhile, Edi Gathegi (Mr. Solomon) will be featured in season 3 as a character who handles the corrupt work for the Cabal, Fashion & Style reported. According to the official synopsis from NBC, the first episode of "The Blacklist" will feature an undercover CIA analyst. In an episode titled "The Troll Farmer," the agent who is always at his desk will try to stop global calamity by infiltrating the treacherous organization of weaponry dealership.

"The Blacklist" season 3 will premiere on Oct 1.
