Moto X Play Becomes DROID Maxx 2 For US Distribution; 1080p Full HD, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Display For $200 Anytime This Month?

Moto X Play is coming soon to America after being released in Europe and Canada with a new name Motorola DROID Maxx 2.

Motorola DROID Maxx 2 rumors say it will be released anytime this month, but speculations for the device's power capacity are the much talked about.  According to reports, it may be able to last for more than 48 hours. Its predecessor, the DROID Maxx came with an astonishing battery unit of 3,500 mAh battery.

Moto X series will include Moto X pure style which will be sold at $399, International Business Times reported. Its dimensions are 153.9 mm by 76.2 mm by 11.1 mm; weight of 179 g; operating system is Android 5.1.1 Lollipop; Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chip system; 1.8 GHz, 64-bit Hexa-core CPU; 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM memory; and 16, 32, and 64 GB storage.

Moto X's battery power is 3000 mAh Li-ion; display is 145 mm, 520 ppi, Quad HD TFT LCD with Corning Gorilla Glass 3; 5 MP front camera; and 21 MP rear cameras. Maxx 2 is said to be released in September.

Motorola DROID Maxx 2, on the other hand, will be sold at a price range between $200-$300. Its dimensions are 148 mm by 78 mm by 10.9 mm; 169 g weight, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system; Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip system; 1.7 GHz, 32-bit Octa-core CPU; 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM memory;  and 16 or 32 GB storage.

DROID Maxx 2 will have 3630 mAh Li-ion battery power; display of 140 mm, 403 ppi, 1080p Full HD with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and a rear camera of 21 MP.

Motorola DROID Maxx 2 will be released in August, Android Police reported.

Motorola Moto X series phone line is an alternative for consumers who are not too keen on the infamous Samsung Galaxy S6 and Apple iPhone 6.
