Game developer CD Projekt Red has revealed two new images featuring the official artworks for “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” expansions titled “Hearts of Stone” and “Blood Wine” slated for a release in October and early 2016 respectively.

The artwork for “The Witcher 3” “Hearts of Stone” expansion shows Geralt posing with a sword, while his hands are tied. The second artwork for “Blood and Wine” gives players the first glimpse of the region of Toussaint, while Geralt is seen riding a horse.

The first expansion “Hearts of Stone” will be an all-new 10-hour-plus adventure, in which the players will be taking Geralt into the wilds of No Man’s Land and the alleys of Oxenfurt, where he will be caught in a tangle of deceit, while trying to complete a contract with Man of Glass, according to the official description.

As for “The Witcher 3” “Blood and Wine” expansion, Geralt will be taken to an-all new land of Toussaint, which has an ancient, bloody secret masked by carefree indulgence and knightly ritual. The 20-hour gameplay will have new adventures, gear and foes and will reportedly feature dearly missed as well as new characters.

Rumor has it that the “Hearts of Stone” expansion will see the return of Shani, from the original “The Witcher” game, as the official listing of the expansion content on Steam, had an image of Shani for the upcoming expansion, VG24/7 reported.

However, CD Projekt Red has neither confirmed nor denied the rumors.

The developer is more likely having its table full, as community lead Marcin Momot just confirmed a few days back that there is a new hotfix in the works, to address the issue of steam achievements as well as the problem with Skelliege’s Most Wanted quest. “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” hotfix is said to land fairly soon on all the versions.
