"Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland allegedly snubbed fans at the recent Teen Choice Awards. The 24-year-old actress surprised everyone when she refused to sign autographs at the red carpet.
According to OK! magazine, via Classicalite, Hyland "swore like a drunken sailor" at the TCA awards last week. Insiders claimed that the actress kept dropping the F-word even when there were minors present.
When fans approached Hyland and asked for her autograph, the actress allegedly ignored them and turned the other way around. She also did not stop to take photos with them. It was said that she acted like a total diva, acting like their presence inconvenienced her.
Meanwhile, Hyland was reportedly not the only "Modern Family" cast member who is causing problems on set.
According to The National Enquirer, Ed O'Neill, who plays Jay Pritchett on the ABC series, made a big deal about hiring a body double. The outlet claimed that the veteran actor was offended when the producers asked another man to carry Sofia Vergara (Gloria) up the stairs. It was said that they were worried that he would drop her, given that he is near his 70s.
To show the cast and crew that a body double was not necessary, O'Neill reportedly picked Vergara and lifted her above his head to everyone's surprise. Eyewitnesses claimed that the actor strutted around, in an attempt to show off his masculinity.
"Everyone applauded, and later filmed several takes of Ed tearing off Sofia's dress and carrying her upstairs over and over," the insider shared.
