Miley Cyrus performed of a new song titled "Dooo It" before announcing her surprise album, entitled "Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz," while hosting MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 30.
Towards the conclusion of the performance, Flaming Lips singer Wayne Coyne joined Cyrus onstage to place confetti cannon between her legs. While Cyrus was singing the song Coyne come out to shoot cannon from underneath her crotch.
Cyrus announced the free LP and flashed the site's URL on-screen. The album includes appearances from Big Sean, Ariel Pink, and Sarah Barthel of Phantogram. The album consists of seven songs and "Dooo It!" is the album's opening song, Cyrus has co-written it with Coyne as reported by the Rolling Stone.
A closer assessment of the verses reveals that Cyrus is defying the outmoded gender norms. She is supporting LGBTQ and homeless youth with her Happy Hippie Foundation. Cyrus supports charities such as the Elton John AIDS Foundation, Entertainment Industry Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, United Service Organizations, Youth Service America, and Music for Relief.
The tracks, "Twinkle Song" and "Pablow the Blowfish," were written and produced by Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus recorded the track "Miley Tibetan Bowlzzz."
