Robert Griffin III Looks At Other Places, New Faces

Robert Griffin III can't seem to catch a break.

After a couple of worse than expected seasons from the quarterback, it looks like the Washington Redskins is heading into another direction that may not involve the formerly prized commidity. On Monday the Redskins proclaimed that Kirk Cousins would be the starting quarterback for the upcoming season, signaling the end of Griffin's run as a starter.

This isn't the first time Griffin has been put on the bench, but whenever he was it was always due to an injury of some sort. This time however, Griffin is ready to go but the team has him off the bench for the start of the season. It appears that the Redskins are more than ready to move on from Griffin, and keeping him on the bench does nobody any favors. Where exactly could we see Robert Griffin III next season?

Houston Texans: The Houston Texans don't really have any answers for quarterback and their season doesn't really garner much optimism. It is more than likely that Brian Hoyer will not be a game changer, so considering Griffin would not hurt them, especially if he were to bounce back.

Cleveland Browns: If there is one team that needs a lot of insurance at the quarterback position, it is the Cleveland Browns. Johnny Manziel is struggling with injuries and their current preseason quarterback Josh McCown has been absymal. Bringing Griffin in should be an option to consider for the Browns.

Dallas Cowboys: With Tony Romo getting older, the Cowboys should definitely look at a replacement for a quarterback of the future. Griffin would be a low risk, high reward type player if he somehow were to put it together with the Cowboys. Jerry Jones has already expressed his respect for Griffin in the past, but that was when his stock was high.

Arizona Cardinals: Last season the Cardinals definitely struggled due to the injuried by their quarterbacks. They have to hope that Carson Palmer can remain helathy this season, so Griffin can be a sort of insurance policy for the Cardinals. After all, Arians may be the type of coach to make it work for Griffin this time around.
