Ronda Rousey To Attend Marine Corps Ball, Thanks To Change In Sked Of Holly Holm Fight

Lady Gaga has sent a scathing remark about Ronda Rousey.

UFC Women's Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will attend the Marine Corps Ball on Dec. 11. On Tuesday, she accepted the offer from Lance Corporal Jarrod Haschert to be his date.

Haschert, a Marine assigned at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, invited Rousey to be his date through a video posted on Facebook. The video invitation, seen below, became viral with over 4.8 million views.

In his video, Haschert said, "You are my celebrity crush, I like everything you do and I think that you are a phenomenal person which is why it would be my honor to take you to the Marine Corps Ball on December 11th. I really hope this doesn't get in the way of your training."

The change in Ronda's fight with Holly Holm from January 2016 to November 2015 made it possible to accept the 22-year-old marine's invitation. Otherwise, Rousey would have been busy preparing for the bout by December.

He said if Rousey would accept his invitation, it would be a dream come true. The 28-year-old UFC fighter told TMZ when she viewed the video that she is willing to be his date but does not know how to get in touch with Haschert.

"I would go, for sure. But do I call him, do I set up a time and place like 'Never Been Kissed' and just show up there?" Yahoo Sports quotes Ronda.

While she finds the marine cute, Ronda warns, "He won't be able to treat Rousey like a 'Do nothing b- - - -", that's for sure." With her brute strength - despite Rousey's beauty and sex appeal - she could easily break the arms of her date, even Floyd Mayweather Jr., if she fought the boxer in a no-rules fight, a female boxer believes.
