The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo will be released for the Gran Turismo 6 video game.

The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo supercar was finally unveiled. The car will be included in the long list of vehicles that can be downloaded for the PlayStation racing simulator "Gran Turismo."

According to Motor Authority, aside from taking part in one of the most popular racing simulator in the gaming universe, the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo also provides a sneak preview of what the successor of the ultra-fast Bugatti Veyron will look like.

On the other hand, Bugatti is expected to unveil a new car, codenamed Chiron, based on the Vision Gran Turismo model at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The life-size form of the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo will be unveiled at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show which is scheduled to open in Sept. 15.

Bugatti, along with several prominent automakers, participated at the Vision Gran Turismo challenge which was set by "Gran Turismo" creator Kazunori Yamauchi. The creator asked several game studios to come up with a car design which will be included in the roster of vehicles in the upcoming "Gran Turismo 6" video game.

Bugatti claim that its entry is based on its motorsports history. The company added that the cars design was inspired by Bugatti Type 57 Tank that raced in the 1930's edition of Le Mans.

Bugatti head of exterior design told Digital Trends, "Under no circumstances did we want to create a retro-style race car in memory of the successes in Le Mans, but rather to transfer the feeling and mood of these special moments in Bugatti's history to a modern vehicle."
