LG G Flex 2 will receive the Android Marshmallow update.

There are rumors that LG is planning to completely skip the Android Marshmallow update for LG G Flex, LG G Pro, and LG G2.

Many LG devices are expected to receive the Android Marshmallow as Google will release the said upgrade in October. Android Marshmallow will be launched along with Google Nexus 5 2015.

It is rumored that LG G Flex 2 will receive Android Marshmallow update as soon as it is released, according to Android Pit. Currently, LG G Flex 2 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

It is rumored that LG G Flex and LG G Pro may not be on the list of devices to receive the Android Marshmallow upgrade, at least not any time soon, according to Slash Gear.

Meanwhile, LG G4, LG G3, LG G Pad 2 10.1, and LG G Pad 10.1 are confirmed to get Android Marshmallow update. It is rumored that these four devices will get the vanilla version of Android Marshmallow, which was originally meant for the Nexus devices. Later on, LG will modify this upgrade according to their own standards and release it for installation.

The upcoming LG G Pad 2 10.1 is rumored to be equipped with Android Marshmallow out of the box. However, there are also reports that it may also come with Android Lollipop 5.1.1 out of the box.

For LG G Pad 2 8.0 and LG G Pad X 8.2, LG is yet to release any update regarding its operating system.

There are some rumors that LG G3 may also make it to the list of the devices, which may not get the Android Marshmallow update.
