Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows 10, is receiving countless praises from both allies and rivals. The new OS is already installed in more than 90,000 different tablet and PC models, running on devices in 192 countries.

The upgraded version of Microsoft Windows has received so far a mostly positive response according to Extreme Tech. The website revealed last week that the number of installations and upgrades to Windows 10 has already reached 75 million, excluding the upgrades made by the Insiders.

This impressive number is record-breaking for any Windows release up to date. Out of these Windows 10 installations, around 1.5 million or two percent are Windows 10 Enterprise.

Since Windows 8 and 8.1 versions were almost unnoticed by this customer segment, this figure shows the success of the Microsoft new operating system. However, Enterprise licensing remains the segment with the lowest sales registered by Microsoft.

According to The Hoops News, companies complain that it is fairly difficult to upgrade their systems or PCs. For instance, Enterprise Resource Planning takes around a year or two in planning and testing the new software.

It also usually takes several months for a company to ensure complete installation and upgrading of all its systems. For these reasons, the relatively high number of companies that have already upgraded their OS to Windows 10 can show how successful is the new Microsoft's Windows 10.

Analysts have predicted that by 2016 Microsoft's Windows 10 sales will escalate at even a more fast pace, as companies are likely be able by then to upgrade all their systems.

During the on-campus session, Microsoft had revealed some other items related to Windows 10. According to The Hoops News, an upcoming build for testing will allow Windows Insiders access to Elements of Windows Update for Business.

The roll-out of the upcoming build is planned for later this year. Microsoft is working on Windows Update for Business (WUB) based on Enterprise feedback. The parts of the upcoming technology will be rolled out in phases.

The new version of Windows has pushed everyone's hopes high, according to a statement made by Tony Alderson, senior product manager at Toshiba. He declared that, thanks to Windows 10, his company expects increasing sales from October onward.
