Pippa Middleton completed the Otillo swim-run challenge, which took place in Sweden on Sep.7. She finished the 50-miles course in 13-hours, 4 minutes and 24 seconds.

She competed in the race with her teammate Jons Bartholdson and stood 82nd. She reportedly woke up at 4 a.m. to take part in the 47-mile endurance and was jovial during the course of the event. She has been preparing hard to take part in the swim-run challenge.

Middleton said about her experience to People, "The toughest part was the long swim with the cold water and big waves, but the scenery was beautiful and I love the team part of it,"

She added that running in Otillo Swim Run is the one of "toughest" things she has done. Middleton crossed 26 islands in the Swedish archipelago.

Middleton's brother James Middleton also took part in the event. He completed the race in 8 seconds after Pippa. His teammate for the race was James Matthews.

Meanwhile, Middleton previously told Reuters as cited by Toronto Sun  that the Otillo swim-run challenge is not for the "faint-hearted." She was enamored by the idea to doing an adventurous sport in the picturesque surroundings.

"Much of the running is trail running on uneven ground, hopping over rocks on the shore line, dipping in and out of bays," she previously explained about the race.

Middleton is known for taking part in athletic events and following a fitness regime. She has previously taken part in Tusk Trust's Safari Marathon and Brighton Bike Ride. She has been taking part in the adventure activities to support various charities.
