Nick Gordon Challenges Allegations Of Prompting Bobbi Kristina Brown To Death

Bobbi Kristina Brown (L) and Nick Gordon attend the opening night of ''The Houstons: On Our Own'' in New York October 22, 2012.

While Nick Gordon vehemently challenges the allegations of prompting the "wrongful death" of Bobby Kristina Brown, his attorneys filed a response against the charges calling them "slanderous and meritless."

This response by Gordon's lawyers came after Brown's legal custodian filed a modified lawsuit in August alleging Gordon of battery, assault, inducing emotional anxiety, and robbing her of her bank balance beyond her knowledge.

In the response, Gordon dismisses the charge on him claiming that he "perpetrated the fraud that he had married" Whitney Houston's only daughter, according to People. He also denies the claims made by Brown's conservator of physically abusing the late star by kicking her on the side and knocking her tooth out.

Also, Gordon admits to the claims by conservator Bedelia Hargrove and friend Max Lomas that he was not at home on the night Brown was found unconscious, had an altercation with her and that he then changed clothes.

Evidently, a portion of the papers procured by Atlanta's Alive that show Gordon's admission of the above claim, states that there is no testament of the "several false and criminal and frivolous claims against the Defendant".

It also asserts after Brown was found by someone else in her bedroom, Gordon did try to conduct CPR on her. According to the papers, Gordon also admitted of the unsuccessful attempts of Brown's resurrection by others.

Brown lost the battle of life on July 26 nearly six months after she was found unconscious in her Georgia condo. The 22-year-old's estate attorney, Hargrove modified the claims adding an allegation of "wrongful death" followed by a lawsuit filed in June.

The amended lawsuit which included the charges of "wrongful death", also alleged that Nick drowned Brown's face in the bath of cold water followed by offering her a "toxic cocktail," Mirror reported.

While declaring the changes made to the complaints Hargrove said in a statement, "We will leave no stone unturned in seeking justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown."
