Michael Schumacher Health Update: The Ugly Depiction Painted By Insufficient News

The recent calm witnessed in Michael Schumacher's health updates do not show a good picture according to many people. Schumacher's current condition, since he was dispatched from hospital to his Swiss-lakeside home, has been unknown due to scarce updates.

Superficially, Schumacher is regarded as one of the most distinguished Formula one drivers of all time. Unfortunately, on Dec. 29, 2013, he suffered a traumatic brain injury under a skiing accident.

The accident which happened when his family was in the French Alps for holiday trip, changed the next turn of events in his life as well as his family. The injury initiated a medically-induced coma which lasted till he regained consciousness in June 2014.

Schumacher was then transferred from Grenoble Hospital to Lausanne University hospital where he continued to undergo rehabilitation and treatment.

Schumacher's was then transfer from Lausanne University Hospital on September 9, the same year, to his home for a more thorough rehabilitation. That is the time when his family decided to stay and keep tight-lipped about his health advancement.

The media blackout has from since attracted various worries among his fans and the world at large. Schumacher's details of recovery and progress have yet to be divulged.

On the statement posted in the blog by Mika Häkkinen, Schumacher's career rival, he said that he is happy that Schumacher's recovery condition has been improving. He also wished the champion to keep fighting.

According to Express UK, some of Schumacher's properties has already been sold due to financial difficulties. His $2.2 holiday home in Norway and $28 million jet were already sold.

The last news heard about Schumacher was the launch of websites to celebrate to pay homage to the 20th anniversary of his first ever world championship. Since then, Schumacher's well-being remains private. The only thing that prevails is hope as the world watches in the anonymous fate.
