Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) could be facing the new threats in New Orleans all by himself in "The Originals" Season 3. The released promo video of "The Originals" Season 3 has teased that a vampire sire line war will develop and the conflict between the Mikaelson siblings will continue in the CW TV series.
In the promo video, Original vampire-hybrid Klaus appears to be alone at the Mikaelson compound. "Always and forever indeed," Klaus declares with hatred while staring at the portraits his siblings Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Rebekah (Claire Holt/Maisie Richardson-Sellers).
Cami (Leah Pipes) tells Klaus that he is scared because the people that he loves are angry with him. When Klaus defeated Aunt Dahlia (Claudia Black) in "The Originals" Season 2, the Original hybrid has hurt Elijah, Rebekah, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) in the process.
Aside from fixing his relationship with family and friends, Klaus will also be dealing with the arrival of the Originals' sired vampires in New Orleans. The promo video teased that there is a war brewing between the sire lines and the Mikaelsons are at the center of it.
"The Originals" executive producer Michael Narducci teased at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con that the third season of the CW TV series will be focusing on the history of vampirism and the sire lines of the Originals. According to Dread Central, "The Originals" Season 3 will kick off with a time jump of six months and the war between the sired vampires will be a major storyline.
Meanwhile, "The Originals" Season 3 promo video also teased on the other characters of the CW TV series. According to TVLine, the fans will still see Hayley in human form even though Klaus and Aunt Dahlia placed the Crescent Curse again on the wolves in the previous season.
The other scenes in the promo video showed Marcel, who appears to be in a fight club, the young Regent witch Davina with blood coming out of her eyes and Freya Mikaelson (Riley Voelkel) telling her vampire siblings that they will all fall. "The Originals" Season 3 will premiere on Thursday night, Oct. 8, at 9/8c on the CW Network.
