Premier League 2015-2016: Aston Villa vs West Brom, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

| Sep 14, 2015 10:47 AM EDT

West Brom striker Saido Berahino was dejected after his failed move to Tottenham.

Struggling teams Aston Villa FC (1-3-1, 4 points) and West Bromwich Albion FC (1-2-2, 5 points) are scheduled to face each other in week 6 of the 2015-2016 Premier League season. The match will be held at the Villa Park on Saturday, September 19.

Aston Villa is coming off a tough 2-3 loss against current second place squad Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.

The Lions actually led early in the high-scoring match, 2-0, with goals from midfielders Jack Grealish and Carles Gil during the first hour only to be overtaken by the Foxes in the second half with three late goals in a span of 17 minutes, as reported by The Guardian.

Tim Sherwood missed the chance to move up the standings when he replaced Gil and team captain Gabriel Agbonlahor in the final minutes thinking that they already got the game in the bag.

Meanwhile, West Brom is equally disappointing as well as they were held to a goalless draw by Southampton at the Hawthorns last Saturday, as per BBC Sport.

Even the return of striker Saido Berahino, who recently threatened to boycott the team, is not enough to gut out a win for Tony Pulis' side.

Saido's issues came after his supposed move to Tottenham on deadline day was blocked by team owner Jeremy Peace. On September 1, the 22-year-old forward had said in a social media post that he would never play for Peace again because of the debacle.

The predicted result is a 2-0 win for Aston Villa. With the current internal turmoil in the Baggies' camp, it would be tough for them to beat the Villans on the road in this game.

Aston Villa starting lineup (4-3-3 formation): Guzan; Richards, Hutton, Amavi, Clark; Sánchez, Westwood, Gueye; Gestede, Bacuna, Sinclair

West Brom starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Myhill; McAuley, Evans, Brunt, Dawson; Gardner, Yacob, Fletcher, McManaman; Rondón, Lambert
