Things are turning for the worse at Stamford Bridge and after Chelsea's recent 1-3 road loss to rival Everton last Saturday, manager Jose Mourinho admitted that the Pensioners are no longer in the hunt to repeat as the Premier League's 2015-2016 champions.

Chelsea missed Everton defender John Stones during this year's summer transfer window, but it appears to be that it will not be the end of the saga between these two English clubs.

Blues to sack Mourinho after setback against Everton: Calls from Chelsea fans regarding Mourinho's sacking abound especially after their defeat in the hands of Everton last week.

The 52-year-old former Real Madrid manager is clearly not at his best this season after leading the Blues to only a win and four points in five games.

After dejectedly admitting that the Stamford Bridge giants are not going to repeat as champs, he vowed that he will not let the team be relegated next year. He also assured the fans that he takes all responsibility and that he is "the man for the job".

In truth, it would take more losses and disappointments to finally make Bruce Buck fire Mourinho. Verdict: Fiction.

Stones is set to move to Stamford Bridge in January despite summer transfer failure: Although they got the last laugh at the moment with regards to the 21-year-old center back, Toffees manager Roberto Martínez has not ruled Stones potential departure when the transfer window re-opens in January.

While Chelsea is expected to continue its hunt for the young England international next year, Martínez ensured that it would have to be on Everton's terms that the deal will be finalized. Verdict: Fact.
