FNC is among the top five entertainment companies in South Korea.
In 2014, FNC became very popular when AOA emerged into a top girl group over a short period. AOA members became popular actresses and solo artists. Seolhyun starred in her own drama "Orange Marmalade." Main vocalist Choa starred in musicals and variety shows. Jimin became a hip-hop sensation on the show "Unpretty Rapstar." The other members had individual and unit projects. AOA is an in-demand product endorser until now.
Soloist Juniel and senior idol groups FT Island and CN Blue are FNC's other assets. These three enjoy a stable fan-base. They have the freedom to experiment with music and pen their own songs.
The label manages credible and in-demand actors and actresses such as Lee Dong Gun from "Lovers in Paris," Lee Da Hey from "My Girl," and Yoon Jin Seo from "Secret Love."
FNC Entertainment was started by singer-turned-producer Han Seong-ho in 2006. Their first talent is the Pop-Rock Band FT Island.
