A new leak states that the Taiwanese tech company is planning to release HTC One A9 device with a pre-installed Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Although it is not yet clear when will officially release Android 6.0 Marshmallow, rumors are rounding up that HTC will use the latest Android operating system for their upcoming device. Its next flagship smartphone One A9 with a codename Hima_Aero is rumored to have the new Android OS, shifting from the Android 5.1.1 in previous rumors, according to 9to5Google.
The new rumor came from a tweet of LLabTooReR, a frequent and prolific Twitter leaker. The leaker also added that Sense 7 will also receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
It also claim that HTC One A9 will feature a possible 10-core Helio X20 processor which can be found in Acer Predator handset as well. It comes with 4GB of RAM clocked at 1.96GHz and LTE Cat 6 connectivity. In addition, the device will sport 5.5-inch Quad HD screen with 2560 x 1440 screen resolution and the best camera specs. It was also hinted that it will have a dual-SIM support. As for the internal storage, there were no details so far, but there is a chance it may come in multiple variants.
The leaker also suggests that the handset may be launched as early as October or November, making it one of the very first Marshmallow devices to hit the market. Another set of rumors also state that the Taiwanese tech company will announce their new mobile device and a potential round smartwatch on Sept. 29, the same day that Google is set to announce its new lineup of Nexus devices, Ubergizmo reported.
