Premier League 2015-2016: Stoke City vs Leicester City, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

Winless team Stoke City (0-3-2, 2 points) will try to fight off relegation as it meets current Premier League second-placer Leicester City (3-0-2, 11 points) at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday as week 6 of the 2015-2016 season goes underway.

Mark Hughes' squad has so far struggled in the young season, losing thrice and drawing twice in their first five games.

Their last match was against top contender Arsenal last Saturday at the Emirates Stadium and they were blanked by Arsene Wenger's boys, 0-2, as reported by ESPN.

It seems like their struggles will extend against the undefeated Foxes, who along with current league leader Manchester City were the only two teams who have not suffered a loss this year.

Claudio Ranieri's dream season continues as his Blue Army came from behind to escape a tough challenge by Aston Villa at the King Power Stadium last Sunday, coming away on top, 3-2, in a high-scoring match, as per The Guardian.

Villa led 2-0 after an hour of play, but Ritchie de Laet, James Vardy, and Nathan Dyer scored a goal each for Leicester in the final 18 minutes to overtake. However, it was the passing plays of midfielder Riyad Mahrez who carried the team to victory.

The 24-year-old Arsenal target has been playing superbly for Ranieri as of late and they are expected to extend their unbeaten streak against lowly Stoke City.

The prediction is a close 2-1 win for Leicester City. Stoke will find a way to make a game out of it, but the Foxes will be too much for them.

Stoke City starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Butland; Cameron, Bardsley, Pieters, Muniesa; Whelan, Shaqiri; Arnautovic, Diouf, Van Ginkel; Joselu

Leicester City starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Schmeichel; de Laet, Morgan, Huth, Schlupp; Drinkwater, Albrighton, Inler, Mahrez; Okazaki, Vardy
