2017 Audi A4 Avant Debuts At 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show

Audi unveils the 2017 A4 Avant at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show.

The 2017 Audi A4 Avant was recently unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show in Germany. The new A4 Avant is larger, lighter with a lower drag coefficient of 0.23

According to Car and Driver, Audi integrated some new surprise feature on the new A4 that made it one of the most stylish cars released by the company. The A4's back end is well designed as well as the car's C-pillar.

The rear end of the sedan now sports a standard partition net. Additionally, the car also features a motorized cargo cover that tracks up the car's D-pillars every time the lift gate is opened.  There is also an option to install a folding cargo mat in order to subdivide the cars cargo space and secure everything that it holds. The car's tailgate can be operated via car's gesture control.

Audi also throw in a handful of new technologies into the 2017 A4. One of these many features is the new fully digital instrument panel called the Virtual Cockpit, according to Auto Blog.

The 2017 A4 Avant will be released in the United States and will be available in either diesel or gasoline powered engine. It is available in two engine type; the 2.0-liter TDI which is present in the current model and the new 2.0-liter TFSI engine which boasts a new and upgraded cylinder head. The new engine is reported to have a power output of 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque.

When the 2017 Audi A4 Avant hits the market it will have a seven-speed S-tronic dual-clutch gearbox. The car is also available in front-wheel drive and an all-wheel drive option.
