Lamborghini new model launch

The Italian brand manufacturer of luxury sports car has finally opened the curtain for the long awaited car Huracan Spyder at Frankfurt Auto show, which is one of the most anticipated models.

Huracan mostly carries similarity to coupe, having naturally aspirated 5.2 liters, 610 hpV-10 engine and 7 speed dual clutch gear box but it is without the metal roof. The roof is similar to precious Gallardo spyder. The unique roof is available in three colors black, brown and red.

The car has power of generating 413 ft lbs of torque and reaches a top speed of 201mph, sprinting from zero to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds. During open air driving the top is hydraulically controlled and will get lowered in 17 seconds. Then from the rear of the car rises two fins that improves aerodynamics and optimizes the airflow.

The car also has a cylinder on demand system that will deactivate the cylinder banks when there is less demand of driving. Also, the car is equipped with engine stop-start system that will consume less. The chassis of the Huracan spyder have a combination of aluminum components in front and rear part and the occupant's cell have carbon fiber elements. The chassis is very lightweight that provides torsion stiffness. The new car has a dry weight of 1542 kg with power to weight ratio of 2.53 kg per hp.

Price of this newest car starts at $210,000 and its delivery will start in the spring of 2016 as stated by Auto Blog.

According to Motor Authority, Huracan showcases the latest evolution of Lamborghinis characteristic design language and possess brilliant visual impact meanwhile sticking to the Lamborghini principle of form follow function. Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkemann has said during the reveal of the car that after Lamborghini's Gallardo spyder, the Huracan LP 610-4 will create a very successful story of the naturally aspirated V-10 Huracan and may exceed its predecessor in every angle.
