David Beckham, Victoria Beckham Divorce On The Way? Ex-Spice Girl Slammed Over Thin NYFW Models

| Sep 17, 2015 03:56 AM EDT

Singer and clothes designer Victoria Beckham poses for photographers during a photocall at Harrods store, to promote the Spring/Summer 2008 collection of her 'dVb' clothing range, London May 15, 2008.

Victoria Beckham was seen at her New York Fashion Week show without the tattoo on her spine dedicated to her husband David Beckham.

This does not mean, however, that they are having marital problems. In fact, their relationship is said to be going stronger and the decision to have the tattoo removed has something to do with the former Spice Girls singer's profession as a designer.

The tattoo etched down Victoria's spine from the nape of her neck is a Hebrew inking, which read, "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine." Apparently, she had undergone laser treatment to remove the tattoo in an attempt to be taken more seriously by the fashion industry, according to Yahoo.

This is not the first time Victoria had a tattoo removed. Before the Hebrew inking dedicated to the retired Manchester United footballer, Victoria had undergone laser treatment to erase the tattoo that bore the date she and her husband renewed their wedding vows and the phrase "again from the start."

Meanwhile, Victoria is facing backlash over the models she used in her recent NYFW show. One of the critics is plus-size model Emme. She told Entertainment Tonight, "This fall, the models were very thin. There were a few that distracted you, and it's shocking."

"Seeing bones protruding, you start worrying about the individual wearing your clothes," the plus-size model added. "That's a missed opportunity for the designer."

Emme pointed out that the former Spice Girls singer designs for women that look like her, and she should but she needs to choose healthier models.
