"The Social Network" actor Jesse Eisenberg has revealed that there is more to expect in Zach Snyder's upcoming DC Comics film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
Eisenberg will play Lex Luthor in Snyder's forthcoming film. In his interview with Observer, Eisenberg explained that both comic book fans and moviegoers can see "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" in a more life-like tone, since they are in a world with people exhibiting their perception, along with their intellect.
Along with the film's action enhanced by visual effects, Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is also crafted in an approach, in which it could present vital life issues and themes as well, as per Cinema Blend.
One example is the Man of Steel, who is viewed as an alien with extraordinary powers. In real life, people would be cynical to entrust their world and lives on him, since he could oppress humanity in the long run. While some people view him as a helper and Savior, some remain unconvinced of his intentions, such as Batman and Eisenberg's Luthor.
Aside from David Fincher's "The Social Network," Eisenberg is also known for his roles in Ruben Fleischer's horror adventure film "Zombieland" and Louis Leterrier's crime thriller "Now You See Me." He is also set to appear in Jon M. Chu's "Now You See Me" sequel, "Now You See Me: The Second Act" and Woody Allen's untitled comedy film.
Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will serve as a catalyst to the emergence of the Justice League. Along with Eisenberg, the film also stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, and Amy Adams, among others.
Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Mar. 25, 2016.
