The trailer of the 12th season of "Grey's Anatomy" is very upbeat despite McDreamy's exit from the show. It seems like the characters of the show are taking their grief in stride.
Popsugar reports that Meredith Grey played by Ellen Pompeo looks like she's not yet ready to move on but her friends are there to help her get back up. Oddly, the support she's getting includes a roommate tearing down the walls of her house.
The 21-second clip doesn't reveal much except for the seemingly cheery mood of majority of the characters. One of the highlights of the trailer is Maggie, played by Kelly McCreary, who punched someone in the face while on duty.
According to Internatioal Business Times, the first episode of "Grey's Anatomy" will zero in on bullying. The story revolves around two girls who are hospitalized for medical distress after being bullied. The incident forces the cast to revisit their own personal experiences with bullying.
.The premiere will also reveal what happened to the relationship of April Kepner played by Sarah Drew and Jackson Avery played by Jesse Williams.
If you will recall, April lost her son last season and left Jackson as she tries to grapple with grief. She re-enlists with the armed force leaving a broken marriage.
In this episode, she comes back to Seattle and Jackson is preparing for her return. The question remains if the two will get back together.
Hypable reports that new interns are also coming to the show and one of the old characters will find new love in the process.
Season 12 of "Grey's Anatomy" returns on September 24 on ABC.
