Last season's Football League Championship runners-up Watford FC (2-1-3, 9 points) will try to keep momentum to their two-game winning run as they confront currently struggling team Crystal Palace (3-3-0, 9 points), who are now on a two-game losing streak.

The 2015-2016 Premier League match will be held at the Hornets' home field of Vicarage Road on Sunday, September 27.

Quique Sánchez Flores' side is so far the most successful of the three newly-promoted teams with 9 points in the league table.

After three straight drawn matches and a loss to Manchester City in the fourth week of the season, they won two straight, the last one a 2-1 spanking of cellar-dweller Newcastle United with Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo scoring a double, as per SkySports.

Meanwhile, Alan Pardew's boys are struggling to find their rhythm after dropping two consecutive 0-1 games against Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Eagles were unable to contain the Spurs' South Korean forward Son Heung-min as he found the back of the net at the 68th minute to deny CPFC a point in the overall standings, as reported by The Guardian.

Watford is playing with confidence as of the moment, but Crystal Palace is eager to get back to form and they will snatch a close win versus the Golden Boys in this game.

The predicted result is a tough 2-1 victory for Crystal Palace.

Watford starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Gomes; Cathcart, Anya, Nyom, Prödl; Jurado, Deeney; Abdi, Watson, Capoue; Ighalo

Crystal Palace starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): McCarthy; Delaney, Souaré, Hangeland, Kelly; Cabaye, McArthur; Puncheon, Sako, Zaha; Bolasie
