Being a dad doesn't come with a manual and Ryan Reynolds will show you firsthand that building a crib is not instinctive for first-time dads.
In this funny clip from Us Weekly, the Deadpool actor is trying to figure out how to build an IKEA crib.
Reynolds gets overwhelmed with the different nuts and bolts. He thought that the crib comes assembled.
The actor then calls IKEA to ask for assistance. He explains that there's actually no problem with the item but he needs someone to come over and set up the crib for him.
Reynolds complains that there's 100,000 pieces that need to be placed. He adds that he's slowly succumbing to alcoholism while assembling the Hensvik crib.
Later on, Reynolds channels his inner Deadpool and defies conventional building by putting together the crib using alternative tools.
We're not sure if wife Blake Lively will like the finished product, though, but perhaps his still naïve 9-month-old baby James won't mind.
According to EOnline, the couple is living outside New York City where they are raising their son away from the public eye.
The actor admits that he's actually surprised at how patient he's been with his child. He admits that sometimes he has a short fuse but with little James he has a reservoir of patience.
He also doesn't have problems waking up in the middle of the night or changing nappies. They don't have a nanny, which is really admirable for a Hollywood power couple. Reynolds said that he loves doing all these things for his baby.
Reynolds will play the titular role in the highly-anticipated "Deadpool" movie, hitting the big screen on February 12, 2016.
