Valencia CF (1-1-3, 6 points) will go for their second win of the season as the team hosts lowly club Granada CF (1-4-0, 3 points) at their home field of Mestalla Stadium on Friday, September 25.

Last season's fourth placers, Els Taronges is having an up-and-down season so far as they managed to gain only one win and three draws after five weeks of action.

The Bats' last match was a 0-1 loss to RCD Espanyol at the Estadi Cornellà-El Prat on Tuesday as the Parakeets prevented them from finding the goal the whole game, as per SkySports.

Manager Nuno Espírito Santo's concern right now is the lack of offense from his squad as his designated scorers Paco Alcácer, Dani Parejo, and Zakaria Bakkali have all been struggling with their games.

Meanwhile, El Graná is in deeper trouble as they only have one win and three points in the overall standings after five outings.

José Ramón Sandoval's boys dropped a 0-3 affair with Real Sociedad on Tuesday at the Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes as their offense is also a problem, via BBC Sport.

At present, only Malaga and Sevilla are lower than Granada in the league table as both squads have yet to register their first wins of the season.

Valencia will try to take advantage of Granada's loose defense to get their second victory and an additional three points in the standings.

The predicted result is a close 1-0 win for Valencia.

Valencia starting lineup (4-3-3 formation): Jaume; Cancelo, Santos, Abdennour, Gaya; Danilo, Fuego, Perez; Mina, Rodrigo, Bakkali

Granada starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Andres; Lopes, Babin, Doria, Biraghi; Krhin, Ustaritz; Success, Rochina, Mendez; El-Arabi
