Frances Bean Cobain, the only daughter of the late iconic musician and Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain, has tied the knot with her boyfriend, Isaiah Silva, in a secret ceremony without telling her estranged mother Courtney Love.

Frances Bean has been dating the grungy Eeries singer, who also has a striking resemblance to her late father, since 2010. Recent reports stated that the couple tied the knot in an extremely low-key ceremony, inviting just close friends to witness her big day.

"She only invited a close circle of friends to the party, and then phoned her mum afterwards to tell her the good news," Mirror quoted a source, who further added that Love was devastated at the news that she was not there to see her on the big day, though, the 51-year-old is "happy to let her do her own thing."

Love is also convinced about her daughter's choice as she feels that Silva is a nice guy. The 30-year-old singer,  who had met Frances Bean back in high school, sings and plays guitar in a pop band called The Rambles and had once played for Katy Perry in the early days of her career, Crushable reported.

It seems that Frances Bean has picked up her penchant for low-key affairs from her late father. Kurt and Cobain famously married on Waikiki beach in Hawaii in front of just eight people in Feburary 1992. While the bride stunned in a satin and lace dress, the groom arrived for the ceremony in green pajamas since he was feeling too lazy to put on a tux.

Love was already pregnant when she married Kurt. Frances Bean was born in August 1992 and was just two-year-old when the iconic singer committed suicide at the height of his fame at the age of 27.
