World-famous rapper Kanye West is also reality TV star Kim Kardashian's husband.

Kanye West was seemingly not kidding when he announced that he is contemplating to run for the presidential campaign and is still very much determined to run for President in 2020.

The rapper was speaking with Vanity Fair about his Yeezus season 2 collection, upcoming album and his future plans when he declared the same.

"Oh, definitely," quipped the 38-year-old rapper on being quizzed whether he was still thinking of running for the President's office in 2020. He further added that he has just five years to research and prepare before he runs for the office.

Talking about his prodigy, the rapper revealed that his father had  two masters degrees while his mother had a Ph.D. and used to work at Operation PUSH and soon he has to "become the person that Donda and Raymond West raised."

West expressed his desire to run for the President first time in 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. While his announcement was soon dismissed as a joke by many in social media, a few celebrities have come out to show their support for the future president.

Prominent among such celebrities is Big Sean, who has not only cheered at West's announcement, but also declared that he knew it was coming. The rapper was present at the iHeartRadio Music Festival lineup on Sept. 19, Saturday, when he told Billboard that he had predicted back in 2012 that West will be running for President.

The Detroit based rapper, whose actual name is Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, also said that West is very passionate and one of the greatest guys ever.
