Former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak posted a sweet photo of her and husband Kory Biermann on Instagram after the former was rushed to the hospital because of mini stroke last Sept. 24, Thursday.

As seen in Zolciak's Instagram post, she and husband Biermann snuggle up in bed while the star was laid down her hospital bed. The "Dancing With the Stars" contestant was very proud of the tender family moment that she and her husband shared.

On Sept. 24, Thursday, Zolciak was travelling from Los Angeles to Atlanta immediately after finishing her taping in "Dancing With the Stars." Moments after the star arrived home, she reportedly felt that something was seriously wrong with her body.

Complaining to her husband, the star expressed her concern that her left side of the body felt numb and she had trouble speaking which are eventually identified by her loved ones as typical signs of having a stroke. Her partner, her daughter Brielle and her boyfriend Slade Osbourn, together with her close friend Niki Toney-Pressley immediately rushed her to the hospital.

After recovering a little from the incident, Zolciak took it to herself to announce her condition to the public via an Instagram post.

Thankfully, the star is finally recovering from her terrifying predicament. When asked about the details regarding what could have caused a healthy individual's stroke, well-known specialist Dr. Bruce Lee explained in a The Hollywood Life interview that mini strokes can happen to anyone, and causes vary from one person to another.

Kim Zolciak is a well-known reality star and singer who started out in the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" and her own reality spin-off show "Don't be Tardy." Currently, she is happily married to Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann in a widely-broadcasted wedding in 2011.
