Eminem’s Protégé Yelawolf To Record ‘Violin’ With Country Singer Lee Brice For 'Trial By Fire'

Eminem collaborated with his protege Yelawolf in the track "Best Friend."

Eminem's "Best Friend" collaborator Yelawolf recently took to Instagram to announce his upcoming third studio album "Trial By Fire." The Atlanta rapper also said he wrote a record for country singer Lee Brice titled "Violin."

On Sept. 22, Tuesday, Yelawolf posted on Instagram a photo of himself under a tree with a lengthy caption which starts with, "It's been a crazy week. So much energy around me at all times. I've found peace and quite for most of my life at grave yards .. My Maw Maw used to take me .. We would just walk around and read stones ... I write a lot of records here .."

"We're supposed to be in the studio this evening ..," Yelawolf also wrote. "Time to push all aside and get these ideas recorded .. Songs are like a passing speck of dust in the wind ... If you don't grab it and contain it .. It'll be gone forever. With all my growth .."

According to Yelawolf, returning to his roots has been the greatest blessing and sharing that with what hip hop brought to his life, he said he is forever grateful. He pointed out that he is mentally ready to begin his next album "Trial By Fire."

In other news, Brice said that the biggest influence on him as an artist is Garth Brooks in a recent interview with Enid News. He said he loved not only Brooks music and songs but also his demeanor on stage.

On Sept. 26, Saturday, Brice with perform with Granger Smith and Earl Dibbles Jr. in Muskogee, Okla., at the Muskogee Civic Center, Muskogee Phoenix reported.
