Leaked Screenshot Reveals Microsoft Lumia 950 XL Specs

Microsoft is expected to unveil the Lumia 950 XL on Oct. 6.

Tech giant Microsoft is expected to unveil the Lumia 950 XL on the upcoming media event scheduled on Oct. 6. Recently, a screenshot believed to be the specs of the upcoming flagship phone was leaked. It shows the device running on Windows 10 build 105457 and reveals some interesting specs.

According to Phone Arena, the leaked screenshot confirmed previous leaks claiming that the device will support Quad HD resolution at 1440 x 2560. The device's screen size is still expected to be 5.7-inch.

The leaked screenshot also confirmed the rumor that the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL will have 3GB of internal memory. The leak also reveals the phone's system on chip which is the Snapdragon 810 from Qualcomm. This means that the flagship device from Microsoft will have an octa-core processor with an Adreno 430 graphics processing unit.

Aside from the leaked screenshot, there are also rumors claiming that the Lumia 950 XL will sport a 20-megapixel rear facing main camera equipped with OIS and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The device is also believed to sport 32GB of storage space with options for expansion although the company has yet to confirm whether expansion can be made through a microSD card slot.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL packs a 3300mAh battery and will support wireless charging. According to Ubergizmo, the device will also sport a USB Type-C port which is becoming more common especially in top-tiered devices.

Aside from the Lumia 950 XL, Microsoft is also expected to unveil the Lumia 850, a new Microsoft Band rumored to sport a curved display and the Surface Pro 4 at the upcoming press event.
