NFL, EA Sports, Twitch Team Up To Create Weekly Online Show

The National Football League recently announced that it is teaming up with EA sports to create a new online show called "EA Sports Madden NFL Live." The show will be aired on live online streaming portal, Twitch, and will be released on a weekly basis.

According to Variety, the new online show is aimed to appeal not only to video game fans but also sports fans, especially in football. The show will air every Friday, starting Sept. 25, at 9AM PST. The show will also be simultaneously streamed on NFL.com.

The show will air as a recorded program on the NFL Network every Friday at 1PM PST.

According to Venture Beat, the NFL Media will be responsible for the show's content. The show will cover weekly news about the popular football simulator. Some of the confirmed segment will cover tricks and tips as well as in-game content for the Madden Ultimate Team game mode. The show will also cover plays of the week and changes to player ratings.

NFL Network Adam Rank will host the show with retired Jacksonville Jaguars and Oakland Raiders running back Maurice Jones-Drew will provide additional correspondence.

When asked about the upcoming show, Jones-Drew said "This series will cater to the cross-section of two extremely passionate communities, NFL fans and gamers and I look forward to talking Madden NFL with them on a weekly basis. I've been a huge fan of Madden NFL for years and I know how popular the game is with NFL players, fans and gamers around the world."

The "Madden NFL 16" video game was released on Aug. 25, 2015. The is available on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 consoles.
