$379 Nexus 5X And $499 Nexus 6P will not be sold in carrier stores, will be sold online only

According to latest reports, the tech giant Google will sell the new Nexus handsets - Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, online only, and will not be making them available through carrier stores.

According to Android Police, pre-orders will begin from September 29, and the Nexus 5X will be available from $379. Reports also suggest that the smartphone will be available in black, mint green and white, with 32GB and 16GB storage options for all the colors. It is expected that initial pre-orders will be restricted to Ireland, Japan, Korea, UK and US.

The Nexus 6P will go on sale direct through the company, with prices beginning at $499.99 for the 32GB model. The smartphone will be available in Canada and the aforementioned regions, apart from Korea.

The Nexus 5X is expected to sport a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, a 5-MP front-facing camera, Adreno 418 GPU, 3GB of RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor.

Furthermore, the handset will have a 2700mAh battery and a 12.3 or 13-MP rear sensor. According to reports, the Nexus 5X will come in 32GB and 16GB storage versions with no storage expansion option.

On the other hand, the Nexus 6P is expected to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. Other specifications of the Nexus 6P include a 3500mAh battery and a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels.

The two Nexus devices will work across all the major carrier networks. In addition, the Nexus 6P will be the first Nexus smartphone to offer 128GB storage option. According to Gadgets NDTV, the handset will come in three storage options: 128GB, 64GB and 32GB.
