Bobbi Kristina Death: Medical Examiner Keeps Result Secret; Bobby Brown Believes Nick Gordon Hurt Daughter

| Sep 28, 2015 09:38 PM EDT

Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston, poses at the premiere of ''Sparkle'' in Hollywood, California August 2012.

A court order prevented the Fulton County Medical Examiner from disclosing to the public the result of its autopsy on the cause of Bobbi Kristina's death. The Fulton County Superior Court issued a Sealing the Autopsy Report order on Friday ordering the examiner to remain silent on the cause of the death of Whitney Houston's daughter.

The court informed the county district attorney and Roswell Police Department of the order, reports Digital Spy.

Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious and face down in a bathtub full of water, similar to how Whitney was discovered in a hotel in February 2012. She remained in coma for about half a year until she died on July 26 and was buried on Aug. 1 in New Jersey, beside her mother.

Despite the silence of the medical examiner, Bobby Brown, the victim's father, spoke on who he believes caused the death of Bobbi Kristina, speculated to have died from drug overdose. Christopher Brown, Bobby's lawyer, named Nick Gordon as the culprit.

Nick - who has not been charged criminally for the death of Bobbi - was raised by Whitney like her own son and he became Bobbi's boyfriend. Reports said that he physically abused Bobbi and gave her drugs before she was found in the bathtub.

Bobby filed a $40 million damage lawsuit against Nick, but Nick filed a motion to have the lawsuit dismissed. However, Nick eventually withdrew the motion so he could avoid giving a deposition, the Brown family lawyer said, reports People.

The lawyer adds, "I am not shocked at the withdrawal, as we must keep in mind that Gordon filed a lawsuit to remove Bobby Brown as Bobbi Kristina's guardian, only to withdraw the lawsuit in DeKalb County Probate Court once he was served with a deposition notice."
