David Ayer’s ‘Suicide Squad’: Jared Leto Is Excited To See Fans Meet The Joker

Jared Leto will play The Joker in David Ayer's "Suicide Squad."

Jared Leto has excitedly shared his thoughts on his version of The Joker in David Ayer's upcoming DC Comics film "Suicide Squad."

In his interview with Heroic Hollywood at the latest concert for his band 30 Seconds to Mars, Leto said that he could not wait for fans to see Ayer's film. Aside from the character ensemble of the villain film, the actor said that that he would be locked away in a box after the film's release.

According to Cinema Blend, while Leto did not give more details on how fans would see the Clown Prince of Gotham in "Suicide Squad," his statement was enough to suggest that "insanity" is the "name of the game." In fact, the actor has proven his capabilities of relating with the character by sending gifts to his co-stars.

Aside from giving presents to his co-stars on set, Leto's version of the villain has been viewed as different from other incarnations of the character. The actor also teased his role using social media platforms like Twitter and he has displayed a terrifying take on the character in the trailers with his maniac laugh and sinister grin.

With the previous trailers, it is also assumed that Leto's The Joker will be a "Hannibal Lecter" in "Suicide Squad." Also, the trailers has indicated that the film is set to give fans a foretaste on Joker's psyche, along with Harley Quinn's origins.

Along with Leto, "Suicide Squad" also stars Viola Davis, Common, Joel Kinnaman, Scott Eastwood, Jay Hernandez, Adawale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Adam Beach, Cara Delevingne, Karen Fukuhara, Jai Courtney, Will Smith, and Margot Robbie, among others.
