"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" might see the death of classic character Han Solo. Rumours related to Harrison Ford's future have resurfaced and claims that the iconic Captain of Millenium Falcon will meet his fate in the "Episode VII."
Citing the claims of The Mail's Girl About Town Column, Metro UK is reporting that a movie insider has confirmed that Han Solo will be killed in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." While details remain unknown, it is said that the seventh instalment of the epic space opera will see the demise of Harrison Ford's character after four decades of his first appearance in 1977 movie "A New Hope."
"Movie moles tell me the Space Cowboy will sadly be no more come the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens," the report reads.
However, the report lacks any official comments from the associated person. When Metro contacted Disney, they denied commenting on "plot rumours."
Rumours about Han Solo's death have been circulating around for months. Publication Making Star Wars once claimed that Han Solo will die at the hands of "The Force Awakens" villain Kylo Ren in an encounter. How accurate these rumours are will be revealed when the movie releases on Dec. 18, 2015.
