Recently, President Xi Jinping dropped in at the Qingfeng buns shop, a traditional Beijing bun shop. He queued up and ordered a simple lunch. Although learning that the seat which President Xi took has already been reserved by the shop owner, a lot of customers still waited beside the seat to take pictures. In addition, President Xi's lunch of buns stuffed with pork and onions, stir-fried pig livers and intestines, and green vegetables became the most popular lunch at the shop.

There were nearly 40 customers queuing at the Qingfeng buns shop yesterday afternoon, while several staff were maintaining order. Some customers began using their phones to videorecord the entire purchasing process with some explanations. "Now I am walking into the buns shop where President Xi ate," commented one customer. Another customer went straight to the counter and asked the staff, "I would like to order a 'President Xi's Lunch.'". The staff then confirmed that the lunch contains "100 grams of buns stuffed with pork and onions, a bowl of stir-fried pig livers and intestines, and a plate of green vegetables."

According to staff member Little Guo, although there is no "President Xi's Lunch" officially released on the lunch menu, a lot of customers came to the shop and asked for the same lunch that President Xi ordered. "We all know what 'President Xi's Lunch' is. So whenever customers asked for 'President Xi's Lunch,' we will directly order it for them. These dishes are the most popular ones in our shop."

There is one customer directly rushing to the seat that President Xi took. "I came here especially to enjoy the 'President Xi's Lunch.' However, I heard that the original seat has already been reserved," said the customer. Despite that, there are over ten customers queuing beside the seat. According to the shop staff, the seat has been reserved. The shop staff stated, "We want to protect the seat." The customers understood why the shop reserved the seat. "The prices of buns haven't gone up and they have good serving attitude. We can take pictures wherever we want. We are very satisfied," shared the customers.
