A special committee meeting regarding the death of an Anhui, Ci County Agency Chief who fell from his office building was held on Jan. 2.
The Anhui, Ci County Committee would be convened in order to hear reports from the Public Safety Bureau which was at the scene and was investigating the fall. They're hoping for a clear understanding as to what happened and will go about it in four steps:
1. They will have a synchronized investigation in regard to the deceased work as well as any other factors which may have played a part in his untimely death.
2. They will meet with and console deceased's grieving family members.
3. They will go over the evidence in joint cooperation with the Public Safety Bureau.
4. They will continue to make sure that work is not adversely affected at the agency.
According to reports, on Jan.1 the public safety Bureau of Anwei, Ci County received an emergency phone call from the public stating that someone had fallen off of the National Land Resource Building (where county agencies are housed). The initial investigation at the scene showed the deceased was determined to be Anwei, Ci County Agency Director, Chen Ao Cai (male, born June 21, 1965), who apparently fell from his office to his death on the night in question.
While China has the sixth highest suicide rate in the entire world, the exact cause of death has not been determined and authorities will investigate whether or not foul play is involved or if the fall was some kind of an accident.
