PS4 Store and Xbox One Weekly Deals Include ‘Mortal Kombat X,’ PS Plus Specials, Preorders And More

Xbox One Elite Controller will officially arrive on Oct. 27.

A couple of new games are up for grabs at discounted prices for PlayStation and Xbox platforms.

For the Xbox One, there are some big titles included in the list, as specified by Major Nelson. These include "Mortal Kombat X" Premium Edition, "Dying Light," "Blue Estate" and "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor."

"LEGO" game lovers can also enjoy different iterations of the title, including "Batman 3: Beyond Gotham," "The Hobbit," "Jurassic World" and "Marvel Super Heroes." There are also a few favorite add-ons, such as the "Forza Horizon 2 Car Pass," the "Mortal Kombat X" Kombat Pack, and the "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor" Season Pass.

The Xbox 360 list of discounted games is just as long. It includes popular games like "Batman: Arkham Asylum," "Injustice Gods Among Us," The LEGO Movie Videogame," "Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe." There are also a few "LEGO" and "Skate" titles and add-ons.

The week's deals for the games and add-ons will be available until Oct. 5. Some titles are only available for Xbox Live Gold members.

For PlayStation players, a PlayStation Store sale is ongoing for North American residents. The offers include PS4, PS3 and PS Vita titles, as well as a number of Bandai Namco. There are also some PlayStation Plus Specials, as listed by PlayStation Lifestyle.

Fans of Bandai Namco games can expect the likes of "Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2," "MXGP," "Tekken Tag Tournament 2," "MotoGP 14," "Tales of Xilia" and "SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny."

On the PS4, players can get "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons," "Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition" and "The Elder Scrolls Online," among others. The PS3 PlayStation Plus Specials are "Legend of Kay Anniversary," "Nascar 15" and "Tour de France 2015."

There are also some preorders already available, such as ""Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition," "Sword Coast Legends" and "Yakuza 5" as well as "The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone" DLC.
