AT&T has finally rolled out Android 5.1.1 Lollipop for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6, but numerous users are complaining of battery issues after installation.

According to XDA Forum, many users are complaining about battery issues after they installed the update. One user said that, "I installed the update yesterday and overall my phone runs MUCH better. I did turn on Enhanced LTE and it still is draining my battery by quite a bit, I went to sleep last night at 59% and woke up at 36%, battery manager listed Cell Standby at 31% battery used." He added, "I also tried and was unable to enable UHQ Upscaler audio, not sure why that's the case. The option is simply greyed out."

According to Android Central, this upgrade will also focus on the Stagefright bug and its fix. This bug is known to be plaguing almost all current flagship smartphones under Samsung, Sony, and Google. This bug originates in the form of an MMS, and enables the hackers to get in to the device and hack the user database. This information can be used against the user and incur any kind of loss.

This bug is a hacker's dream; enabling them to get access to the data in the device with just a single tap. Google is working extensively to work on the fix for this bug and make all the devices bug free. Till all the devices receive this upgrade, the users are advised not to open any MMS video in their devices.

Google recently released its next operating system, the Android Marshmallow. This upgrade is bound to fix the known bugs in the Android devices. The upgrade was expected released along with Google Nexus 5X.
