Madonna is currently facing the heat from online commentators over one of her Instagram posts in which she has claimed jokingly that she is being "molested."
In one of her performances during the North American leg of her Rebel Heart tour, the 57-year-old singer got too close with one of her dancers for a titillating number. The moment was captured and the singer shared the pic, in which a dancer can be seen grinding her from the back, along with the caption, "I believe this Man is Molesting Me."
The caption was not much cheered by her fans and has received a mixed response. While some users dismissed the singer as just being Madonna, others were quick to fire at her for making silly jokes about the serious issue.
Meanwhile, the singer wowed the audience in Air Canada Centre, Toronto on Oct. 5, Monday, when she put up a physically intense, highly theatrical two-hour-and-15-minute show.
The singer, who is known for pushing boundaries in lyrical content and imagery in her music videos, again raised several eyebrows when she created an image of the famous Last Supper picture into something of an orgy with female dancers dressed as nuns gyrating around sword shaped poles in the background, The Star reported.
While in Canada Madonna also paid a visit to Detroit's Downtown Boxing Gym on Sept. 30, Wednesday, ahead of her "Rebel Heart" tour stop at Joe Louis Arena on the night of Oct. 1,Thursday, The Detroit News reported.
The singer stopped by the youth gym and spent a couple of hours interacting with the kids at the centre. She arrived with around 20 of her dancers and members of her philanthropy team and also donated 100 floor tickets to her Joe Louis Arena concert.
