Ezra Miller will play The Flash in DC's Cinematic Universe.

"Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" writer Seth Grahame-Smith has been reported to direct the upcoming DC Comics film "The Flash."

Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that Grahame-Smith is in talks to direct the first solo film of the Scarlet Speedster and it will be his second film in DC's Cinematic Universe foray, following "The Lego Batman Movie." According to the publication, DC is looking for a new director for the film, since Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who directed the "Lego Movie," are set to helm a "Star Wars" film.

With Graham-Smith's talent in helming films in the fantasy realm, it would not be difficult for him to direct "The Flash," according to Cinema Blend. Aside from Grahame-Smith attached to helm the film, Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are set to co-produce the film.

Aside from Burr Steer's action horror film "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies," Graham-Smith is also known for his works, including the comedy series "The Hard Times of RJ Berger," Timur Bekmambetov's "Abraham Lincoln: The Vampire Hunter," Tim Burton's horror comedy "Dark Shadows," and Hash Hamilton's television special "The Oscars."

Graham-Smith is also set to pen the screenplay of Tim Burton's comedy fantasy film "Beetlejuice 2," Chris McKay's animated action comedy film "The Lego Batman Movie," and Burr Steers' action comedy horror film "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies."

Meanwhile, Ezra Miller is set to play the Scarlet Speedster. Prior to his solo film, Miller will debut The Flash in Zack Snyder's upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." The latter film also stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, and Amy Adams, among others.

DC's "The Flash" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Mar. 3, 2018 while "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits theaters on Mar. 25, 2016.
