NFL 2015 Season: Pittsburgh Steelers vs San Diego Chargers, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

| Oct 08, 2015 09:13 PM EDT

San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers (#17).

The Ben Roethlisberger-less Pittsburgh Steelers (2-2) will visit the San Diego Chargers (2-2) at the Qualcomm Stadium on Monday for a Week 5 NFL 2015 season matchup.

Pittsburgh is coming off a long rest as its last game was back on October 1st, a 23-20 overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens and their first without their starting quarterback, at the Heinz Field, as reported by Heavy.

Roethlisberger injured his left knee in the third quarter of their Week 3 win over the Rams after being caught by a sliding sack from defender Mark Barron. The Super Bowl champion signal caller will be out for four to six weeks.

The Chargers will look for its second consecutive win against the undermanned Steelers after their last-second field goal victory over the Cleveland Browns, 30-27, at home last Sunday, via SB Nation.

San Diego's rookie kicker Josh Lambo hit a 34-yard field goal with only two seconds left in the game to lift the Chargers to their second win in four outings.

Quarterback Philip Rivers had an impressive game with three touchdown passes and will look to carry over his momentum against Pittsburgh.

Prediction: Chargers win, 21-17.
