Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Recent reports emerged that Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimović is on his way to Major League Soccer's Orlando City SC at the end of the 2015-2016 season.

United Press International reported that the newly-formed Florida soccer club had "already established" a contract for the 34-year-old Swede forward in anticipation of his transfer to the States next summer when his contract with Les Parisiens expires.

Orlando City, nicknamed the Lions and coached by Adrian Heath, will be going into only its second season next year and they reportedly want to make an immediate impact starting with the hiring of a major player like Ibrahimović.

Bleacher Report noted that the charismatic Sweden International already had a personal agreement with the MLS squad even before the new Ligue 1 season began, but that he was not allowed to disclose anything to the media yet.

"I would like to play in US, absolutely," Ibrahimović told reporters last summer, hinting of a possible move stateside. "I would like to play. Which team? Am I allowed to say that? No, I cannot say that."

He had just become PSG's all-time leading scorer with 110 goals in 137 games and is going into the 17th season of his career, but his aging legs are showing no signs of slowing down any time in the foreseeable future.

Meanwhile, Les Rouge-et-Bleu is said to be targeting Real Madrid's superstar forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, as a potential replacement for Ibrahimović if he indeed moves to Orlando at the end of the season.

PSG is reportedly preparing a mammoth £125-million bid for Los Blancos' all-time leading scorer.
